We work on the large production stocks held by the factories and bring the material to the end customer through a short supply chain. The same porcelain stoneware you find in a showroom, at a price that reflects the way it is bought.
Roots in the ceramic district, since the 1970s
StockTiles is a new project, but it does not come out of nowhere. It grows out of deep experience built over generations in the Italian ceramic district of Sassuolo, where we have been working since the 1970s: product knowledge passed on over time, which today allows us to recognise a quality tile, read its technical specifications and tell which products are truly worth it.
On that experience we have built a new model, with the online store as its starting point. E-commerce takes the place of the traditional sales network: comparing sizes, finishes and prices per m² takes a few minutes instead of several rounds of showroom visits, samples arrive directly at your home or studio, and you can put your order together calmly, at the times that suit you.
The company is based in Bari, Italy, and operates across the whole European market, while the material still ships from where it is produced.
Why the same tiles cost less
By “stock” we mean the large production stocks held by the factories. Buying them directly changes the final price, not the quality of the material.
We buy at source
We deal directly with large manufacturers and work on factory stocks, checking that the material is first grade.
We cut out the steps
No wholesaler, no unnecessary step: we collect from the factory and deliver straight to the person laying the tiles.
The margin stays with the customer
What we save by removing those steps goes into the price per m², not into the retail list price. Every product is published with its price per m² and per box.
