What data we collect

  • Data you provide to us: first name, surname, shipping and billing address, email, telephone number, tax code or VAT number and recipient code for invoicing, the content of the messages you send us.
  • Order-related data: products purchased, amounts, payment and shipping status. Payment card details never pass through our systems and are not stored by us: they are processed directly by the payment service provider.
  • Data collected automatically: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited and browsing data, collected through cookies and similar tools as set out in the Cookie Policy.

Purposes and legal bases of processing

1. Management of orders and website services
Enabling browsing, managing your account where applicable, entering into and performing the sales contract, handling payment, shipping, customer support, returns and warranty, responding to requests for information or quotations.
Legal basis: performance of a contract or of pre-contractual measures. Providing this data is necessary: without it we cannot process your order.

2. Legal obligations
Issuing and retaining invoices and accounting records, tax and administrative compliance.

3. Newsletter and commercial communications
Sending emails about products, offers and news.
Legal basis: consent, which can be withdrawn at any time. For customers who have already made a purchase, communications regarding products similar to those purchased, with the option to object in every message.

4. Reviews
Invitation to leave a review after a purchase or a request for a quotation.
Legal basis: legitimate interest of the Controller in collecting feedback on its own products.

5. Website security and protection of our rights
Prevention of fraud and abuse, IT security, establishment or defence of a legal claim.
Legal basis: legitimate interest of the Controller.

6. Statistics and online marketing
Traffic analysis and, subject to your consent, personalised advertising.
Legal basis: consent given through the cookie banner.

Disclosure and recipients of data

Your data is not disseminated, but it may be disclosed to third parties who support us in providing the services you request:

  • provider of the e-commerce platform, hosting and technical services;
  • payment service providers;
  • couriers and carriers for the delivery of orders;
  • tax and accounting advisors for invoicing;
  • providers of email marketing, review and customer support services;
  • public authorities, where required by law.

Where these parties process data on our behalf, they are appointed as Data Processors pursuant to Article 28 GDPR.

Transfer of data outside the European Union

Some of the providers listed above are based, or have servers, outside the European Economic Area. In such cases the transfer takes place on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission or of the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the Commission, together with supplementary measures suitable to ensure an adequate level of protection. Retention periods

  • Order and contract data: for the entire duration of the relationship and, thereafter, for the limitation period applicable to contractual rights (10 years).
  • Tax and accounting records: 10 years, as required by law.
  • Account data: until you request deletion of your account.
  • Newsletter and marketing data: until consent is withdrawn or an objection is raised.
  • Browsing and cookie data: for the duration indicated in the Cookie Policy.

Your rights

At any time you can exercise the rights granted by the GDPR:

  • access to your personal data;
  • rectification or updating of inaccurate data;
  • erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten");
  • restriction of processing;
  • data portability;
  • objection to processing based on legitimate interest and, in any case, to direct marketing;
  • withdrawal of consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

We do not carry out solely automated decision-making producing legal effects on the user.

Final information

Following a purchase or a request for a quotation, the User may receive by email an invitation to share their opinion on external review platforms (for example Google Reviews) and acknowledges that the review left, together with the name or nickname of its author, may be republished on our promotional channels.

We reserve the right to update this privacy policy in order to align it with regulatory changes or with the services offered. Any changes will be published on this page, together with the date of the latest update.
